BioSpanish to English translator for the last 30 years. Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. Do voice-overs for industrial videos. Tutor English as a foreign language. Have a German Shepherd bitch going by the name of Cáit, previously a German Shepherd going by the name of Shep who died of old age.
Currently learning Basque with a view to improving my translation scope.
Translation specialist areas: Medicine and Mechanical Engineering.
I enjoy monthly meetings with other translators to chat about different things like politics, environment, gender equality, setting the world to rights. I enjoy going to the ballet, theatre, cinema; watching rugby, professional cycling, etc.
